Scotland Spirit
I love the movie "Braveheart". It is a 1995 American epic war film directed by and starring Mel Gibson. Gibson portrays William Wallace, a 13th-century Scottish warrior who led the Scots in the First War of Scottish Independence against King Edward I of England. Growing up, it had been my wish to visit the place where William Wallace grew up and fought for FREEDOM! Scotland is a country that is a part of the United Kingdom and covers the northern third of the island of Great Britain. It shares a border with England to the south. Like England, it has a very rich history. It got lots of stories to tell--from the big castles you see around, structure of government, a pipe major in the streets of Edinburgh, theaters, warm and lovely people, among others.
