Amazing Thailand
Everybody loves Thailand! Thailand is all about stunning beaches, Buddhist culture and sophisticated cuisine.
With sixteen million foreigners flying into the country each year, Thailand is definitely Asia’s primary travel destination and offers a host of places to visit.
Thailand occupies the western half of the Indochinese peninsula and the northern two-thirds of the Malay Peninsula in southeast Asia. Its neighbors are Burma (Myanmar) on the north and west, Laos on the north and northeast, Cambodia on the east, and Malaysia on the south. Formerly called Siam until 1939, Thailand has never experienced foreign colonization. While Thailand has absorbed Western influences at present- it has maintained its own rich heritage.
Here are my Top 5 places to visit:
1. The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782.
2. Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is on Rattanakosin Island, directly south of the Grand Palace. Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
3. Pattaya is a seaside resort on the Eastern Gulf Coast of Thailand, about 150 km southeast of Bangkok. Pattaya is mostly famous for its beaches and beer bars but local authorities have made some efforts to provide more family-friendly attractions and activities.

4. Floating Market in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where goods are sold from boats. Originating in times and places where water transport played an important role in daily life, most floating markets operating today in Thailand is mainly for tourist attractions.
5. The Golden Mount at Wat Saket. Built on an artificial man-made hill, the Golden Mount is the temple’s most well-known landmark and is a sacred pilgrimage site during the weeklong worshipping period in November. To get to the top requires a climb up some 300 steps. Before beginning the climb, you will find an unusual cemetery built into the base of the Golden Mount. Wat Saket served as the capital's crematorium and the dumping ground for some 60,000 plague victims. Approaching the top of the hill, you will be welcomed by a wall of bells and panoramas of historic Bangkok.
Enjoy Thailand!!!!
